About Morphix

Morphix is an online image converter and optimizer. It transforms and compresses your JPG, PNG, WebP and AVIF files straight from the browser, with no install, and one clear conviction: privacy and simplicity first.

Why Morphix exists

Most image conversion tools are either bloated and ad-ridden, or opaque about what they do with your files. Morphix grew out of a simple need: convert an image to the right format and the right size without handing over your data in the process. Files are processed for the duration of the conversion and then deleted; your images are never used commercially.

Our expertise

Morphix focuses on one thing and does it well: modern image conversion and compression. The engine builds on proven libraries (Pillow, exiftool) and exposes every setting that actually matters, quality, format, dimensions, metadata stripping. The blog documents format trade-offs in depth (WebP vs AVIF, when to compress, how to cut weight for WordPress or Shopify) so every choice is explained rather than guessed.

How it is built

Morphix is an independent, self-hosted project, with no venture capital and no data resale. A public API and an MCP server let developers and AI agents automate conversions. The codebase follows strict performance and accessibility conventions, and the site is audited regularly for both SEO and technical quality.
